Initially, these were part of a joint venture with D3 Publisher called '3D AGES' (SEGA D3 spelled backwards).
It’s taken from the collection of La Mecca del Videogioco, Italy’s First videogames museum. Despite the text being entirely in japanese it’s clear what the game’s about.
But what’s even more interesting is this writing over here: Sega Ages 2500. Sega Ages 2500 is a serie of budget price games, all remakes or ports of classic Sega Games from arcade or previous systems. A total of 33 volumes were released, but in Japan only so for us foreigner it can be harder to get a hold of them. So let’s have a look at Hokuto No Ken first, and then at four more Ages 2500 games that may not be necessarily the best but they are worth a try in my point of view. [Volume 11: Hokuto no Ken] This game is based on the omonymous game originally released for the Sega Mark 3. I can’t say much more because the text is entirely in japanese but I recognize many of the characters Kenshiro had to deal with.
