• 4 Answers SOURCE: To whom it may concern 1.download the audio driver for the appropriate model number of the mother board and install it. 2.If it says 'there is other device with pci device'it means the bios is recognizing a pci sound card.if you did install a sound card load the appropriate driver cd that came with your sound card.if this does'nt work try step 3. 3.if no sound card was installed then then uninstall the driver for the pci device or uninstall both drivers and try loading the appropriate driver from the motherboard manufacturer website if non of these steps work. 4.Search for the appropriate motherboard bios update then try loading appropriate audio drivers.
