I've been trying to do some digging in the various forums looking for a strip-down manual and spare parts guide for an RWS stirrup pump. I initially thought it might be a rebadged Hill pump but the internals (I can get to) are not quite the same.

I then looked at a Webley pump and emailed them only to be told that they haven't made pumps for RWS. I found the RWS website (German one) and have sent them an email about 4 days ago but I have not received a reply. I've also emailed the RUAG Uk site (found from the psotcode on the pump) and have not yet heard back from them, but they don't even list the pump on their website. So does anyone have an RWS strip-down and rebuild manual, or know who sells O ring kits etc for them? Pikkes of my pump: Regards, Phil. I've had an RWS pump that looks identical to your's for over 7 years and (touch wood) I've had no problems with it. As far as I know they're identical to one of the FX pumps (and the Webley - Webley never made pumps but re-badged other maker's stuff, like they do with their guns now ).

There was a stripdown post on here a while ago - you can open them up but you need to lock the tube in a vice (wrap it in cloth or something to protect it) then use a wrench on the nut. I haven't got a clue where you'd get an o-ring kit from, but hopefully I'm about to find out! Hope this helps, Rob. I've opened it up as far as the 1st inner tube but can't see how to get to the fine rod assembly (5mm rod). There is a brass end at the top (through which the rod goes) and a hex (nut?) at the base end.
